Dr. Morgan
Dr. Morgan is a native Texan who attended Abilene Christian University and the Baylor College of Dentistry. He also completed a general practice residency at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, and attends 100-200 hours of continuing education courses each year. He has studied at the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, one of the world’s premier postgraduate dental training institutions, and has completed courses at the top two cosmetic teaching organizations in the U.S., the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry and the Hornbrook Group.
He is a member of a number of local, state and national organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. In summer 2007, Dr. Morgan received his Fellowship of General Dentistry, a designation earned by fewer than 10 percent of the dentists in the U.S. He is also a member of the Judicial Review Committee for The East Texas Dental Society and is in the process of attaining fellowship status in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics.
He married in September 2000 to his wife, Laura, and enjoys playing basketball and hockey. Dr. Morgan is a member of the Glenwood Church of Christ and teaches a Crown Ministries class.

Lori joined our team in February 2009. Dentistry has been a part of her life since 1980. She completed Dental Hygiene at Loyola University of Chicago in 1984. Married to her husband in 1984, they have two children. They enjoy cycling, running and P90X workouts. Dental hygiene has been an amazing career for Lori. She stays current through continuing education courses, keeping the practice of dental hygiene fresh and new. General practice is where she loves to be, taking care of the whole family. Her favorite thought is “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit.” |
Darlene joined our team in July, 2006, and has been in the dental field since 1990. She has been married to Robert for 16 years and they have 4 children. She stays very busy being involved in her children's activities and is an avid photographer. She has worked as a dental assistant in the past and now is our business assistant. She has a wealth of knowledge and a drive to provide excellent care in our office. |
Dr. Morgan’s assistant Karen Colston, RDA, has over 26 years of experience in the dental field. She is highly qualified in all aspects of dental office procedures. She had always wanted to be in the dental field, so at the age of 15 she made her dreams reality and has been a part of it ever since. She loves her career and it shows as her tender compassion comes through to her patients. Her chairside abilities will make your dental experience a very pleasant one. Karen continues to improve on her education by attending continuing education classes so that she may stay current with the latest practices and procedures. |
Leann joined our team in June 2010 and has been in the dental field since 1984. She began as a registered dental assistant and is now our treatment care coordinator. Leann loves expanding her knowledge and taking continuing education courses. By using her experience, she provides the best care possible to our patients. Leann and her husband are active in youth ministries at Shiloh Road Church of Christ. They also volunteer their time at various school activities in the Tyler Independent School District. |
