Advanced Dental Technology Bullard

Bringing Our Patients a Modern Dental Experience

At the office of Tad Morgan, DDS, we are happy to provide our patients with comfortable and comprehensive dentistry. We accomplish that by staying attuned to the latest advancements in dental technology. Our office is equipped with efficient, state-of-the-art equipment to help make receiving your dental care a breeze. Learn more about how your dentist in Bullard detects cavities, measures your bite, and treats TMJ dysfunction better with the latest technology!

Intraoral Camera

Our intraoral camera allows us to take high-resolution images inside your mouth, giving both you and Dr. Morgan a close-up view of your teeth and gums. This small, handheld device helps us detect early signs of decay, cracks, and other issues that might be impossible to see with the naked eye. And since it allows you to see exactly what we see, it’s an excellent educational tool and helpful for keeping you fully informed throughout the treatment process.

3D CBCT Scanner

Our 3D CBCT scanner provides a very detailed view of the entire mouth and facial area – far beyond what traditional X-rays are capable of capturing. This advanced technology allows Dr. Morgan to carefully evaluate for all sorts of dental conditions, as well as things like tongue and lip-ties, sleep apnea, and more. With its wide field of view, we can easily examine your whole oral anatomy and, in turn, plan out more effective treatments!

Digital Impressions

In the past, the process of taking dental impressions involved the use of foul-tasting impression goo that wasn’t just messy and uncomfortable for patients, but sometimes unreliable. Dr. Morgan is excited to offer a much better alternative: fully digital impressions. Using our PrimeScan technology, our team can quickly and comfortably create a virtual mockup of your whole smile, which can be manipulated on the computer as needed before being used to help create all kinds of custom-made dental solutions.

Soft Tissue Laser

Lasers have become more involved in modern dentistry over the last few years, as they’re capable of greatly increasing the overall patient experience for all kinds of treatments. Better yet, this technology is often able to speed up recovery periods and minimize common post-op symptoms such as swelling and bleeding. When performing tongue and lip-tie treatments, as well as certain sleep apnea and cosmetic treatments, Dr. Morgan can use this device to ensure precise results and unmatched comfort.

CariVu™ Caries Detection

Small cavities and cracks in the tooth enamel can be difficult to detect, even with the help of X-ray technology. And sometimes, patients wish not to have X-rays taken altogether. DEXIS CariVu™ offers a safe, effective alternative. It uses special transillumination light technology to help us spot cavities and cracks, allowing your dentist to provide necessary restorative care before significant problems develop. With CariVu, we can actually see through your tooth. Lesions or caries appear as dark spots, just like with an X-ray -- but safely, without radiation exposure.

T-Scan® Novus™ Digital Occlusal Analysis

When your upper and lower jaw fit together the way they should, you can eat and speak with ease. But when something is off with their alignment, you may experience discomfort, headaches, or worn teeth as a result. The T-Scan Novus helps us analyze your bite to identify excessive force or contact as well as the interrelationship of your upper and lower bite surfaces. Using the T-Scan Novus, we are able to improve the way we treat malocclusion.
